Brand Lead a.k.a. Head of Brand

Who are we looking for

Casumo continues to grow, and the marketing team, headquartered in Malta, is looking for a talented Brand Lead, a creative in his/her core, ready to take on a new challenge. This is a key position within Casumo who reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. The Brand Lead will assume full responsibility for the development of brand strategies and building initiatives for Casumo internationally, crafting communication and creative vision with goals of making Casumo memorable in the gaming landscape and beyond.

The main responsibility of the Brand Lead is to continuous build and strength the Casumo brand in each local market. He or she will develop a creative and actionable brand strategy for the international markets with the help of multiple creative agencies partners. The overall objective for Casumo is to become the #1 brand in the minds of the consumers in all current and future markets.

Who are you?

  • You are a creative with full understanding of business, preferably coming from advertising background;
  • Focused on delivering results and possess a passion for brand-building;
  • You are a disruptor, pop culture consumerist and inspired by tech;
  • 3-5 years of experience from brand strategy/planning, briefing/managing advertising and media agencies and executing branded consumer campaigns with a strong track record of digital activation;
  • You understand what makes designers tick, how business people function and what techies burn for;
  • Excellent in communication and presentation skills, Excel modelling;
  • Hands-on with an understanding for “need for speed” together with a decision-making ability;
  • Passionate and driven;
  • An excellent communicator with the capacity to persuade, negotiate and sell;
  • Functioning well under pressure and time constraints;
  • Humble, positive and action oriented;
  • Enjoy working in a multicultural environment;
  • A strong influencer and able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to travel;
  • University Degree educated, preferably with a major in Marketing;
  • Fluent English in speech and writing;
  • Consumer understanding with interest in psychology of buying;
  • Numerate and able to analyse and prepare strategic plans;

We are looking for a person that, in addition to excellent result within marketing, also is self-motivated and creative, able to adapt to a changing working environment, humble and full of energy and ideas. You are flexible with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and communicate annual brand plan, including ATL & BTL activities for all markets;
  • Full budgetary responsibilities for ensuring promotional campaigns are within agreed spending limits, In line with business, strategies and priorities;
  • Working closely with top advertising and media agencies to develop and implement successful marketing communication campaigns;
  • Understanding of social media platforms, executions, and paid tactics—driving business and brand building;
  • Execute promotional campaigns professionally and efficiently utilising the full marketing mix;
  • Ensure communication, PR, design & media agencies deliver creative excellence, the highest level of service and strong cost control;
  • Allocating spend in line with commercial and brand priorities;
  • Experience in executing campaigns in a local market to maximize ROI (Return on Investment).
